ooohhh. I was really, really hoping that the main girl would be her. I'm just gonna wallow in my misery now.

The Hills Finale Party Pics

Season 4 of The Hills may be over but don't fret, there's going to be another season of this pseudo-reality show. And that means more screen time for the two evil incarnate, heidi and spencer. This was confirmed by usmagazine. (to read the story, click here)
Anyway, here's the pics for The Hills finale. Lauren Conrad looking festive in a sparkling minidress by 3.1 Philip Lim and metallic shoes . Love the hair. At least she doesn't look like her boring old usual get up. Audrina Partridge looking great, in fairness. Wearing a gorgeous strapless dress by Alexander Mcqueen, the color definitely suits her. Meanwhile, Whitney Port decided to channel the 60's by wearing a flowery headband. Dress of course by Diane Von Furstenberg. Good plug for her The Hills spinoff, The City. Heidi Montag looking, well I hate to admit it, ok. Lo Bosworth decided to look like an ad for Forever 21. Wearing a sequin top and a yellow satin skirt, this is exactly the same dress on the Forever 21 website. I love Forever 21 but cmon! This girl earns $10,000 per episode and has LC as her best friend, surely she could have asked her BFF for some fashion advice.

Here's the new Armani ad featuring Sasha Pivovarova shot by Mert and Marcus. It looks to be the fiercest ad campaign if not for the too stark background. I can barely make out the Giorgio Armani name below. love the bushy eyebrows though. hehehe

One of the most anticipated ad just came out. Shot by Steven Meisel, it features seven models. The black and metallic accessories against the whitewashed dress and muted background just popped! I love the shoes!!!!! They're heavenly!!!

One stylish trend that i love was the blazer. Everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Kate Moss was seen wearing it. I love the fact that it gives a rock and roll edge to any outfit.It's preppy and edgy and it's one outfit every girl should have.

Louis Vuitton Graffiti

The new Louis Vuitton collection is an homage to "punk glamour god" Stephen Sprouse. Sprouse collaborated with LV designer Marc Jacobs eight years ago. Called the Graffiti collection, it features a range of accessories and contains neon colored graffiti done by Stephen Sprouse. Sprouse died of lung cancer in March 2004

I've been combing the Sasha Pivovarova thread in the fashion spot site almost everyday. she is my favorite model of all time and im just so excited what new ad campaigns she has . Now Sasha is with Kate Moss for the new Longchamp Spring 09 ad showcasing their new Ready-to-Wear line. The campaign was “shot in Los Angeles by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, against a retro green wall dressed in pieces from its 12-piece spring collection. Focused on outerwear, the line ranges from a silk and cotton blouse to a sporty linen trench in the house’s iconic LM horse print.” Come January the “making of” movie about the campaign will be up on the Longchamp website and February the campaign will be featured in a range of glossies. well i'm back. i know, i know. it's been a while. i thought a lot about this blog and what direction it should go. at first, i wanted a sex-and-the-city type of blog, you know, where you document your relationships, your friend's sexual exploits and your lovelife in general. but then i remembered, my lovelife is non-existent, my friend's lovelife are also nil. it's not as if we go out every night and meet lots of men so..no. then i thought why not my never-ending battle against the bulge. how i would write ala food journal what i eat every single day, how it's frustrating to shop for clothes sometimes and how i fall off my diet during weekends. but it's kinda sad to log my eating habits. and boring, i might add.

so i'm back with style. i mean, there's always new in fashion anyway. also the first 3 website i go to whenever i'm in front of a computer is nymag (the cut blog), the fashion spot (mostly to check out what's new with my favorite model), and people (stylewatch).

bowling or fashion week?

my loud but sweet gay friend mikee gave me tickets to watch Philippine fashion week. he had a lot but xty and i decided on the luxe collection which is actually happening right now in SMX convention center. so what made me decide to forgo fashion? it's the invitation. it says "attire: fashionably chic". when all you have are jeans and blah tops, then i dont think fashionably chic would be the right description for my wardrobe. it's more like fashionably meh.

so bowling it is.

and now im still here in the office, waiting for mikee until 830pm. we're going bowling with therese. my ultra gay friend mikee decided to sharpen his bowling skills. and also decided to skip fashion week. apparently, they have this bowling tournament in Metrobank and i think he's planning on winning the cup or whatever. it will be my first time to go bowling. i've never gone bowling. its not something i've had any interest in. i always think that the shoes they have are smelly and makes me look dorky. so tonight i think my mission is to look dorky and blah. how utterly depressing.

anyway, tomorrow is sweldo day!!! woohooo!! first stop:topshop sale. im done being blah!

Morning Banana

Have you heard of the morning banana diet? it's the latest diet rave in japan. it was even featured in Time. and it has become so popular that bananas across the country are sold out. it's actually very easy. all you have to do is eat bananas in the morning. no exercise, you can eat anything you want and sleep early. sounds too good to be true no?

I still believe that exercise along with a healthy diet is the only way to go. although im not really a gym rat. the only exercise i get is when i skip episodes on my dvd. and that's just my finger anyway. for more info on the diet check this out: http://morningbanana.com/

I'm not really much of a trend follower but I am so loving this one...boots! Almost every celeb I see in people.com have been wearing booties or ankle boots. This is something that I really love and will definitely follow. esp. if you're 5'2 like me, this will give you the extra height you need. They're adorably cute when paired with black tights or skinny jeans. Tough looking when worn with a dress. of course, out of these boots, the only ones i can afford are the ones from topshop and they're not even available here. sigh.

woke up late again..hehehe what is it about these ber-months? perhaps it's the wind getting colder, reminding people that Christmas is getting nearer. i usually set my alarm every 3am. my work starts at 5am and it's a minimum 1hr travel from my place to where i work.but since the weather's getting nicer and all,im finding it hard to get up in the morning. set my alarm and my phone at 3am. once neyo starts singing "Because Of You", would hit snooze for a couple of times until it's 4:45am. oh well.

MAD for Plaid Part:2

went to robinson's malate last saturday and i noticed that plaid is the current trend nowadays. although i think one of the olsen's has been rocking the plaid trend for quite some time now.
