Is This A Ripoff?
Miley Cyrus' Oscars gown is drawing flack for being veeerryy similar to another gown. According to E!, Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad was inspired by the Junon dress which sits currently at the Met. However, it's too late to even point out that the designer "is constantly inspired by Christian Dior, and this gown, in particular, re-creates the look of the Dior gown using today's technology,' because when he showed this gown during his Le Bal des Sirenes show, nobody heard a pip that his inspiration was Christian Dior or any other French designers for that matter. Although the Junon dress is strapless while the Murad gown is not, you can see that the beading and shape of the skirt is similar. I do think that Miley Cyrus' gown is a rip off and that the designer forgot to credit inspiration until it was too late.

Yves Saint Laurent Patent Cage Low Boots
Carrie Bradshaw would totally love this look! It's edgy and little unexpected. And it looks comfortable. While I tend to veer away from chunky heels, this one I'm sure I would buy in a heartbeat if I only have the money. The thin lattice structured heels offset its thickness and helps create the balance you need to be able to walk comfortably in them.

On Trend: Fishtail Gown
Fishtail gowns are in! First of is Diane Lane wearing a slightly ruched strapless black dress with a mermaid/fishtail hemline. Marisa Tomei in an elaborately pleated one-shouldered Versace Atelier silvery grey satin organza gown. She polished her look with vintage Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Halle Berry wearing a gold and black Marchesa gown, Jimmy Choo clutch and H. Stern jewels. Vanessa Hudgens, also in Marchesa. Wearing a strapless tulled gown with feather details, she completed the look with Cathy Waterman jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels. Melissa George in a white Dolce and Gabbana which she paired with a box clutch. Beyonce in a tragic House of Dereon gown.

Oscars 2009 Best Dressed: Dreamy SJP
Ooohhhh, this dress is sooo dreamy. Never mind SJP's boobies, this 'barely mint' Dior HC dress looks fabulous!

White and Metallic at the Oscars
Anne Hathaway looks gorgeous in an Armani Prive gown. That dress is simply amazing. Jessica Biel in a sad sack of a dress by Prada. What is she doing in the Oscars anyway? Evan Rachel Wood in Elie Saab HC Spring 2009. She still looks amazing even if the color washes her out. Jennifer Aniston is wearing a silver Valentino gown with Jimmy Choo “Jag” satin sandals. She looks great here and at least she isn’t wearing black. Meanwhile, Penelope Cruz looks positively angelic. The details on her vintage Balmain gown are really exquisite. It's a little bit bridal but who cares. Taraji Henson's gown by Roberto Cavalli looks nice and soft, I'm just not sure about the color. Is it nude? Beige? Or white? Eh. I just wish she had a different clutch.

Kate Moss for NY Mag
I love Kate Moss, I really do. I love her Topshop line and probably everything about her except her lovelife (excluding Johnny Depp, of course). So it saddens me to see that Kate Moss here looks like a hundred years old. I know she is um, older than some models but there there is no reason why she has to look mature than she actually is.

Dolce & Gabbana S/S 09
More pics from Dolce and Gabanna's ad campaign and it loks like Karlie Kloss is the sister being left out of the girl-to-girl action. Or she just doesn't care.

More Katie Holmes for Miu Miu
I'm beginning to think that the news about Miu Miu having a multi-girl campaign was just a myth created to provoke controversial or violent reaction against Katie Holmes fronting this one. I mean, here it is, a new set of images just came out and still no sign of those other models. Maybe they're just part of the background and I can't see them because they're this small. *update MiuMiu decided to go with Katie Holmes only.
Balenciaga S/S 09 - Anna Jagodzinska
This is the fifth image to come out of Balenciaga S/S 09 ad campaign. We now have Kinga Rajzak, Iris Strubegger, Elsa Sylvan and Hanne-Gaby Odiele

Red Carpet - He's Just Not That Into You
Monday night was the star-studded premiere of He's Just Not That Into You and without further ado, I present to you the ladies. Jennifer Aniston stuck to her usual black ensemble. This time she donned a Burberry pantsuit, layered Fred Leighton jewels and a Ferragamo clutch. Drew Barrymore looking very different from her Golden Globes look, rocking a new spin to the LBD. The star is in a nude, bow-topped Lanvin, Roger Vivier clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Dolce and Gabbana model- Scarlett Johansson showing off her new dark hair, dressed in a floral Oscar de la Renta gown with Neil Lane earrings and a Zorab ring. Ginnifer Goodwin is really cute. Wearing a citrus minidress, strappy leather sandals, floral necklace and matching clutch, she looks positively sunny. All Bottega Veneta, btw. Last, we have Jennifer Connelly. Always the fashionista. She's totally rocking a straight-off- the-runway green Balmain minidress and studded gladiator heels.

Edit This: Tanya Dziahileva
I wasn't really a fan of Tanya D. but after not seeing her face on the runway last season, I kinda missed her. And now she's back and is in the February issue of Numero Korea. Entitled Flashback, this editorial looks stunning. This is actually way better than the cover. To see the full editorial, click here.
