Pomegranate for Raquel
The whole set of images for Marc Jacobs campaign featuring Raquel Zimmerman is now out. No weird shots or legs coming out of a shopping bag-- it's Raquel all the way and a pomegranate orchard. Brilliant! To view the whole gallery, click here.

SAG Awards Best Dressed: America Ferrera
Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is gorgeous in a flowing, diaphanous Vera Wang gown. Although she could have used a more dramatic color, I'm just glad that she really looks lovely here. The side ponytail, dark lips and matching nail color-- they blend perfectly together giving America the best dressed award for the night.

On Trend: A White SAG Awards
Anne Hathaway looks chic here in an Azzaro dress. Meanwhile, Taraji Henson looks smashing in a Herve Leroux gown.
I really like Jennifer Morrison but if she continues to dress like this, I'll probably switch to Jesse Spencer. At least, the accent is sexy. This Anne Valerie Hash dress is unflattering. Teri Hatcher, in all fairness, looks really good here. She looks happy and comfortable and I think they (Monique Lhuiller and Teri Hatcher) really work well together.

On Trend: SAG Awards All in Blue
Freida Pinto in a Marchesa gown. I'm not too sure about the color but since she looks beautiful here and that works for me. Kate Winslet has the best blue gown of all. In a curve-hugging Narciso Rodriguez, she looks like a winner here!
Looking more like a goddess than a housewife, Marcia Cross in an indigo and black Carolina Herrera gown. Evan Rachel Wood in Monique Lhuiller. I love the color of this dress. Not too sure about the purple purse and shoes though.

Armani - Victoria Beckham and David Beckham
Vogue Russia Feb 09
I've never really cared for Victoria Beckham but recently I can't help but admire her. First she showed off her amazing body in an Armani underwear campaign and now, she graces the cover of Vogue Russia looking fabulous!! The two images below features Victoria Beckham wearing outfits from her own label. She tells the magazine: 'Forties and Fifties underwear played a big influence on the collection, but the inspiration is me.'I have tried every one of the dresses on, lived in them, to work out what feels right. I hope the silhouette is what every woman wants to wear.'

Max Azria S/S 09
This Max Azria ad is just so awesome! Nastia Liukin is rocking this ad campaign. It's a shame that this will only run online and no print images due to budgetary restraints. “For the Max Azria campaign, we wanted someone iconic — someone timeless. We met Nastia at our last runway show, and she was everything we were looking for,” said Lubov Azria, creative director of Max Azria. “The spring collection was inspired by movement and modern dance so she was perfect. It was meant to be, and the magic just sort of happened.”

The Best and Worst of Inauguration Gowns
Hollywood came out in full force for the inauguration of President Barack Obama. There were a lot of Inaugural balls so a lot celeb pictures. And of course, I couldn't resist the urge to pick the best and worst of Inaugural fashion.
Jennifer Lopez wore a mint green one-shouldered Marchesa gown. The dress looks stunning. Rihanna in a citron yellow Jasmine de Milo mini dress. That dress looks fun although she's in danger of spilling herself and the strap looks like it was added as an afterthought. I love Demi Moore's dress. It's sparkly and festive. I included Ashley Judd because she hasn't looked this good in a long time. She looks dreamy in a Monique Lhuiller gown.

Ashanti attended the BET Inaugural Ball looking like she was sucking her stomach in. The champagne colored gown does not suit her at all. She looked old with that updo. Amy Brenneman also in a champagne colored gown. The look would have been nice if not for her left breast going south of the border. Meanwhile, Rachel Leigh Cook looks like a cupcake, in a bad way. Good thing she's pretty. Mariah Carey still thinks she's a size 2 and squeezed herself in a hip- hugging Dolce and Gabbana number with an off-the-shoulder neckline.

Michelle Obama in Jason Wu
Finally, it's out! After all the debate and months of secrecy on what Michelle Obama would wear on Inauguration Night, the long wait is over. The First Lady wore Jason Wu!!! It is an "ivory, one-strap rosette-covered confection."
As you can see from the picture below, it looks incredibly romantic and modern at the same time. It's nice to see that she didn't thread the patriotic route and use red or blue. Although it looks like a wedding gown, I don't care. She looks radiant and happy.

Katie Holmes on Fire
Another Miu Miu ad released. Katie looking better than the first one. A statement from Miu Miu says that “portrays a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality." The hand on fire is a mystery, alright. Anyway, that dress is simply beautiful. And yes, still no sign of the other models.

Preggy Kate-y
Weighty Gemma

Gemma Ward might have a problem returning to the runway this year. Australian newspaper Sunday Telegraph ran a story saying Ward gained so much weight that she has been exercising madly. This is not the first time she has been put on the limelight due to her weight issues. When she walked the Chanel Spring 2008 runway in a denim bikini, she received so much backlash that according to the news, she wasn't able to book any other shows.
Other models have been on the news last year due to this weight issues. Two of my favorite models- Ali Michael and Coco Rocha- have been reported as well. When Ali got a bit healthier and gained five pounds, she found herself booking only 1 show and being rejected because "her legs were too fat for the runway." This is the girl who walked for Lagerfeld, Lacroix, Chanel, Galliano, Dior, Rodarte, and others. Coco Rocha was also reported for using laxative pills to help lose weight.

Armani - Victoria Beckham
Big day for ad campaign today. Earlier today I posted Katie Homes' Miu Miu meek ad and now Victoria Beckham's Armani underwear also came out and damn, she looks great. She looks tough and graceful at the same time.

Marc Jacobs S/S 09 Raquel Zimmerman
Shot by Marc Jacobs' favorite photographer, Juergen Teller, the setting is folksy and artsy. At least it's not the typical Marc Jacobs campaign with the plain background. I'm not sure is she wants to pick up the fruit or if she wants to hang herself. Either way, the dress is fabulous.
